Can human rights help us cope with stress? It turns out, yes! In the second session with Iryna Lutsenko, we discussed how knowing your rights is not about legal jargon, but about your own safety.

When the world around becomes unstable, it is vital for a teenager to have a solid foundation. We explored the core idea: “My rights are my safety zone.”

What did we discuss?
The right to protection from violence.
The right to have your own opinion, even if it differs from others.
The right to education and medical care, regardless of where you are currently located.

Through the “Voice matters” exercise, participants learned how to reasonably defend their boundaries. When a child knows they have the right to be protected, their inner confidence grows and their anxiety levels drop.
