My journey with English

Kateryna has been interested in languages since childhood – besides English, she is also currently learning German. Before joining the program, she lacked real-life speaking practice. However, the courses changed her learning experience significantly.

With the support of her teachers and regular lessons, Kateryna discovered a more engaging and dynamic way of learning languages. She enjoys the process of discovering new things and believes that language skills open the door to quality education and future opportunities.

Learning progress

Over the course of one year, Kateryna has made significant progress. She now communicates confidently in English, reads fluently, and demonstrates strong performance in her lessons.

Overcoming the language barrier has given her a sense of freedom and greater self-confidence.

Life during the war: music as support

The war has completely changed Kateryna’s life – her home, friends, and familiar surroundings. The most difficult experience was leaving her home. It has been especially hard to adapt to a new environment during air raid alerts and the sounds of explosions.

Despite this, she finds emotional support in creativity. Music has become her way of restoring balance – when she sits at the piano, fear and tension fade away.

Dreams for the future

Kateryna is still exploring her future profession, but she already understands the importance of education and languages. She sees them as a path to travel, new friendships and a life without communication barriers.

She reads a lot and studies diligently to be ready for future challenges and opportunities.

Words of gratitude

“I sincerely thank all the people who support us. Thank you for everything you are doing for Ukrainian children. Your help is invaluable.”

Kateryna’s story is an example of how education, support and creativity help children maintain hope for the future even in the most difficult times.
