When we speak about the vyshyvanka, we speak not only of beautiful embroidery. We speak of the connection between generations, of family strength, of love for Ukraine – stitched in red and black threads on the white fabric of memory.

Today, on May 15th, Hope – Children of Ukraine joined in celebrating Vyshyvanka Day across the world. Many of the children supported by our foundation have experienced loss due to the war, but they continue to grow, dream, learn – and carry their Ukrainian hearts with them, wherever they are.

Why do we celebrate Vyshyvanka Day?
It is a chance to unite Ukrainians around the world through shared culture. It’s a day to feel pride in our roots, to honor our ancestors, and to show our children that being Ukrainian is a privilege and a legacy.

💛 We continue to support children affected by the war not only with humanitarian aid but also emotionally, culturally, and psychologically.
🌱 The vyshyvanka is a small but powerful step toward a deep sense of belonging.
