Meet Daria Aldakimova, who has been studying English with us for over six months and is making remarkable progress in mastering the language.

In 2022, Dasha and her family found themselves in the midst of conflict and were forced to flee their hometown in the Luhansk region as quickly as possible. Currently, it remains uncertain whether Dasha will ever be able to return to the town where she spent her childhood, as it is still occupied.

Like every new student in our educational project, Dasha shared her story and dreams with us. We discovered that, due to spinal problems, this fourteen-year-old girl has to wear an orthopedic corset and attends school remotely.

“I spend most of the day sitting on an uncomfortable chair, which is a big problem for me. I dream of having a special one with proper back support,” Dasha shared with us.

Unfortunately, due to their difficult financial situation, Dasha’s family was unable to afford an expensive ergonomic chair.

Thanks to generous donations, we were able to make Daria’s dream come true – she now feels much more comfortable in a Kulik Systems chair.

“It’s a life-changing experience for me: I can comfortably attend school lessons, my language classes, and do my homework, all without feeling any discomfort,” Dasha shared.

We strongly believe in the power of kindness and are confident that, together, we can positively impact the lives of many children who desperately need support and compassion.
